Cookies and privacy

This website does not collect any information about users and their data.

The article is stored in the user's browser memory to prevent loss in case of closing the page. This data is never transferred anywhere and remains solely in the user's browser application.

If a user utilises third-party plugins in their articles (like YouTube videos or Google Charts), the companies that provide them, may have other policies.

What is Pliocode?

Pliocode is a system of structured content, that allows efficient input of articles and other data using markdown.

The resulting content may be used in HTML form as an article for a website or exported to JSON for use in other applications.

Pliocode has already been used to create multimedia-rich and responsive content for several projects of a major publisher, and also as an easy way to input complicated structured content for e-learning and project management applications.

It is useful every time you have to enter a lot of text and data following a certain document structure.

The author has been working on text input applications since 1986 and spent 15 years working for major publishers in Poland: designing and building systems, that managed millions of articles and other content.

How does it fit my tech stack?

The version available on this website is a set of javascript libraries that may be used directly within websites or server-side node.js applications. It has been also transcribed to PHP and used in CMS applications.

It converts a specific markdown to a data structure -- the Article object -- and has methods to reverse the process or export/import the article using JSON.
